I just had quite an awful experience today as soon as I unlocked my PC in the morning at work received virus alert from my Avira Anti-Virus Guard saying "AntiVir has detected 'TR/Agent.coxr' in the file D:\Documents and Settings\User\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\rncsys32.exe"
And also noticed changes in my active desktop where some of my icons were unable to display and seemed corrupted which really scared me.

Then I realized the download I put last nite from not a very good trusted torrent site. And immediately scanned my entire PC for the malicious files and programmes which proved really good and detected few files immediately and healed them. And did a reboot of the PC that's it everything started back normal. Thanks to the Avira Anti-Virus Personal edition.

But in this process I learnt and came across some really useful info thats worth sharing:

1. Virus Guru is a website that helped me with its neat and clean description of the various virus, its risk factors and healing procedures.

2. Trusted Torrent sites with enormous increase of users who love downloading torrents the risk of getting trapped in malicious sites is higher and from today I choose not to search for any torrents in other than these sites which are been reviewed some of the best and here's the list"
1. The Pirate Bay
2. Mininova
3. Vertor
4. Demonoid
5. Torrentz
6. BtDig
7. Nowtorrents

Feels good to be 1year OLD

Its the time to look back at what I have started a year back on this very same date...And thats my blog and today is its the first anniversary.
So it is time to look back on how did it work in world of blogging. During the start of my blog I’ve been using a widget which integrated with my site and collected the visitor count which was lacking details in the information then later I came across
Google Analytics. It just impressed with its detailed report it not only shows visitor counts but also web browser people are using which version and at what screen resolution. It also gives average time each visitor spends on the site. For a free web analysis I suggest Google Analytics is very rich tool to look into it.

Here's a breif snapshot of my blog stats:

589 Total Visits
331 Absolute Unique Visitors
00:02:09 Average Time on Site
80.65% Bounce Rate
56.20% Percentage of New Visits
Malaysia, United States, India, Germany, United Kingdom, France being the top 6 countries contributing major traffic to the blog.

A very big THANKS to all the my visitors who spared their time to read the stuff on my blog I hope to continue this spirit of blogging with much more zeal and interest in coming days and bring up some best posts on it.

**************************Have a good day all you************************

Being at new places always amazes me I always loved sneaking around new places and try a bit of their lifestyle (might be food, culture or language) and I had this chance being in Malaysia from last 3years which really made me bonded to this place sometimes I myself realize the way it just transformed me start from the food I eat, turning fitnessholic and even the TV programmes I watch daily every thing looks so changed.

I now mostly knew a lot of local dishes here from friends and have given it a try and coming to television I mostly watch out for AFC, Travel&Living or SITCOMS or Japanese/Chinese games shows on TV and sometimes even try my luck in making up conversations with my local friends here in my own knowledge of languages here.

Even the weather here the cloudy skies, sudden downpours, chilly breeze & greenery all around makes you feel pleasant after a tiring day at work. And the pleasant places so close to nature really a treat to watch for. And I decided to get my Mom & Sis here to Malaysia for a visit to experience all that I have been through.

Everything was set...things worked out so perfectly well that both my Mom & Sis finished their trip to Malaysia with fun and good experiences.

Creative logo designs with hidden symbols

This ones is interesting and really caught my attention which I didnt notice for a while though been used to view them somewhere or the other. Here goes the list:

1)This logo is designed for a puzzle game that involves unraveling four clues . Hence the letters C-L-U-E are arranged to give a maze like appearance . Another cool part of this logo design is that it looks like a key when viewed from a distance . Now that's what I call sheer brilliance .

2)Amazon.com is a perfect example of powerful yet simple logo . The yellow arrow that points out from "a" to "z" neatly represents that they sell everything from A to Z . The subtle smile of the arrow's curve is an added bonus reflecting customer satisfaction .

3)

Toberone originated from Bern , a city in Switzerland that is rumored to mean as “The City of bears” . Now do you see the yellow bear in the logo of Toberone's Swiss Alps ? Pretty sneaky eh ? Its nice to see a little known fun fact being hidden in such a popular logo .

4)
The illustration of the Australian map in between her bent leg and stretched out arm is perfectly subtle . It would have been cooler though if the map was made on the lower part of her body posture ... as Australia is refereed to as the land "Down under" .

5)
The hidden symbol in this logo is known to many . Just in case you haven't seen it , there is a hidden white arrow between the orange alphabets "E" and "x".

6)
Notice the diamond shaped logo at the right actually had the alphabets S-U-N in it. Talk about symmetry . Now that's creative.

7)
Goodwill industries is a North American nonprofit organization which aids people with disadvantages . At first glance their logo looks like a face with a smile , but with a closer look you will notice the lower case 'g' in their logo .

I knew its not the start of year or any special occasion to kick start something like this...ie setting goals and trying to achieve them but I do feel it necessary since life's just going so empty these days that I feel to light it up with some fun by dotting down few ToDo list.

AND Here's my list I'd like to achieve or atleast try to attempt doing this year:

1. Learn something new everyday either be professional skill or any personal stuff. (and post it in my blog)

2. Make sure to blog at least twice a week.

3. Trim down a bit & build a lil muscle by working out regularly.

4. Learn to do a Swimming Flip. This is fun i hope to post back with pics of me doing a flip

5. Try being more innovative...work the smart way instead of the other way.

6. Start continuning my higher studies.
Its been a long pause between my left over studies and first few years of work.

7. Enhance my skill set in my carrer stream thats Software Quality Assurance.
could be writing a white paper or learing a new tool or could be attending some training or so.

8. And lastly be regular to church, be good & do good for the people around you.

Lets see how far I suceed...hope I could atleast get out of emptiness and boredom with the cause of trying to achieve any of the above ToDo list.

Read this while digging today...looked quite useful and could be used as a set of standard regular checks to be performed by Software QA or DEV team before releasing any Website to production or Launch.

Here's the Checklist
